| Action | In poker, action is a play: a fold, check, call, bet or raise. |
| All-In | In poker, to put all of your chips into the pot during a hand. In table stakes games, a player cannot buy more chips during a hand. If he runs out, a second pot (side pot) is created in which he has no interest. However, he can still win the pot for which he had the chips. |
| Ante | In poker, a small amount of chips provided by all players to get the pot going. Most hold'em games do not use an ante as such but rather a "blind" to get the pot started. |
| Bank Roll | The amount of money a player is willing to risk in a given period. the period can be a vi to a casino or a week in Vegas. |
| Back Counting |
In blackjack, a method of gaining an extra advantage in which a player counts the cards by standing nearby and sits down at the table to play whenever the count is favorable. |
| Banned | Not allowed to play at the casino or to enter the premises. |
| Bet the Pot | In poker, to bet an amount equalling the total in the pot. |
| Barred | Not allowed to play at the casino or to enter the premises. |
Basic Strategy |
In blackjack, a strategy that tells a player the optimum way to play a hand, whether to hit, stand, double down or split. See Online Gambling Basic Strategy. |
| Bet | A wager made. |
| Betting Limit | The minimum and the maximum amounts of money that a player can wager on one hand, game.... |
| Bicycle | A bicycle is a straight that runs to the five - ace, two, three, four, five. Also know as a Wheel. |

| Board | See Community Cards |
| Book | An establishment or special area of a casino that accepts wagers on the outcome of sporting events and races. |
| Bullets | Pair of Aces. Pocket Rockets, American Airlines |
| Burn Card | In blackjack, the top card of the deck, which is discarded before the deal begins. The card is placed face down in the discard pile. |
| Bust, Busting | In blackjack, going over 21 which is an automatic losing hand for the player. |
| Card Counting | In blackjack, a means of tracking the number of high-value cards (good for the player) and the number of low-value cards (good for the dealer). For detailed explanations see Card Counting at Online Blackjack Review. |
| Check | In poker, passing without placing a bet. With a check, you stay in the running for the pot. |
